David Lomelí debuts with the Canadian Opera Company in “Rigoletto”

David Lomelí  will make his Canadian Opera Company debut as The Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto this fall.  Lomelí, who has been described as “mesmerizing” by the Wall Street Journal and “delightful” by the New York Times, will be coming together with other up-and-coming opera stars as well as some more established voices, such as Quinn Kelsey, Lester Lynch, Ekaterina Sadovnikova, Simone Osborne, Dimitri Pittas, Phillip Ens and Kendall Gladen to perform this masterpiece by Giuseppe Verdi.  COC Music Director Johannes Debus, director Christopher Alden and designer Michael Levine lead the innovative team behind this new production on stage this September and October in Toronto.
